The Cornerstone Center is a Christian meditation community affiliated with the World Community for Christian Meditation (WCCM), a worldwide movement dedicated to the teachings of Father John Main, OSB. The Cornerstone Center provides the Phoenix metropolitan area an ecumenical place for individual and group meditation. Since 1998, the center has been offering enrichment for the spiritual journey through workshops, days of renewal, and lecture series, as well as a bookstore and lending library. The Center, located in Scottsdale, Ariz., welcomes all who are searching for a contemplative spirituality that is deeply rooted in the Christian tradition and profoundly relevant to life today.

Contemplation for Women Coming Nov. 13
Whether you’re a new mom nursing a newborn or a mom with an empty nest, a daily spiritual practice of meditation will give you energy, create peace and reduce stress – and what woman doesn’t need that! Discover more about this universal practice that brings us into silence, stillness and simplicity.
* Hear one mom’s astonishing journey to self-knowledge that resulted in significant weight loss.
* Uncover the Christian tradition and context of meditation.
* Find out how to meditate.
* Meet and mingle with meditating moms.
This session is geared for women of all faiths and will be held on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. Cost is $30. To register contact momsministry@sfxphx.org.

Urgent Call for Volunteers
We have seen much growth in our community, as new people continuously arrive at the Center to attend our group meditation sessions. Since extra support is now needed for our growing community, we currently have numerous volunteer opportunities available at the Center. From serving on the Board of Directors, to helping with hospitality to managing promotional campaigns, we are certain we will be able to find a fulfilling assignment that fits your talents without overusing your time.
